Hello there! I hope this story gives you an honest look at who I am.
I’m a Product Designer with 6 years of experience across different industries, including SaaS, edtech, finance, government, and e-commerce. Most of my work has been with early-stage startups and businesses.
As a designer, I understand my role in creating solutions that bring positive impacts to a business or brand. I’ve always believed my designs could be well received, or even loved, by users. But the truth is, I didn’t really know what impact those beautiful designs and user-friendly products had on my clients’ businesses. What actually improved? And by how much?
That question had been bothering me throughout my freelance career.
Then I got the opportunity to work with a seven-figure e-commerce brand. I wasn’t simply asked to revamp a page, design a feature, or add something new. I was challenged to make sure my designs actually contributed to the brand’s growth, rather than just looking good.
Over nearly two years of working with this brand, I’ve found so much satisfaction in being able to make a real impact on business metrics like revenue, conversion, AOV, customer retention, CTR, and more. I’ve also found that seeing A/B tests through from start to finish is something that always gets me excited.
That was the turning point. I discovered my passion for e-commerce and decided to focus my career on this industry.
